David took the photograph below himself and labeled it. The line across the middle is where the machine had got to.
What the reviews actually say
Read enough of the reviews and the same point keeps coming back. Not the equipment, not the price. That he picks up, quotes, and turns up.
Minutes from first contact to a quote. One customer describes getting all her details taken over the phone and a price back inside half an hour.
Day to the job itself. The same customer had him at the house the next morning. Another was fitted in as a last minute appointment.
Days a week, nine to five. Including Saturday and Sunday, which is when most people are actually home to let someone in.
Hours as published on the Google listing.
What he cleans
The everyday work, and the reason most people call. One customer writes that her carpet is very old and he still managed to make it look so much better, which is a fairer promise than a carpet coming back new.
Tile rarely looks dirty on its own. It is the grout between it that darkens, a line at a time, until the whole floor reads gray. That is restoration work rather than mopping.
The furniture nobody can take outside and hose down. A customer describes a sectional left looking like new, and the whole job taking about an hour.
Pet odor removal is one of the things people come to him for by name. One household with two dogs writes that afterward the carpets and tile looked and smelled fresh.

A note from the person who built this
David, you don’t know me. I’m Matthew, and I build websites for small businesses on the Central Coast. I built this one before asking, because it is easier to look at a real page than to listen to a pitch.
Here is what I noticed, and it is the whole reason I picked you. You have 123 reviews and the average is still 5.0, and you have posted over 770 photographs to your Google listing. I have looked at a lot of businesses on this coast and I have not seen either of those once. And where the website goes on your Google listing, it says “Add website”. There is nothing there. So somebody who hears your name, searches it, and wants to look before they call has nowhere to go but Google.
Everything on this page is already yours. Every photograph was taken by you and posted to your own listing, including the clean and dirty one at the top, which is the best thing on here and I did not have to make it. There are another seven hundred and sixty behind it that this page has room for. Even the blue came out of your own photo, off the air mover you leave running. The quotes are word for word from your reviews and the hours are the ones you publish.
One thing I left out on purpose. There is no license number on this page, because carpet and upholstery cleaning does not need a contractor’s license in California. I mention it only so you know the omission is deliberate rather than an oversight.
Everything here came from public sources: your listing, your photographs and your reviews. Nothing is stock and nothing is invented. If a detail is wrong, it is wrong because I read it wrong, and I’d want to know.
$950 flat if you want it, live in about a week on your own domain, and you own everything: the domain, the files, all of it. If it is not for you I will take it down, no hard feelings.
